: O.K. now here is a matter of opinion, just what do you think of the bra look for the bimmer. I'm tired of finding new rock chips on the front of my alpine white hood, the chips show up as little dark spots on the front of my hood. What I really want to know is if the bra really works or not. What about fit and finish? Is it a smooth tight finish? Most I have seen for other cars look like hell. Does the Colgan fit the bimmers better? If anybody has one on their car, would you care to comment? Thanks everyone.. :Jr '89 535 Alpine white with black interior..

They are worth it if: 1. you drive on the highway (this is where chips happen mostly) 2. You keep the car clean underneath the bra and keep the car clean generally 3. You do not leave them on in the rain. I have used Colgan for many years and have had no problems, so in this regard I disagree with the prior post, although his point about dirt should be kept in mind.
