: Replacing rotors will also be one of the best things you can do especially considering the number of miles. BMW actaully designed the rotors to be replaced at shorter intervals to ensure high performance brake capacity was not compromised. I changed my rotors than attended an advanced driving school where my 525i outbraked the instructor, a Subaru WRX, Audi A6 and frankly all the other cars there, all 26 of them. Impressed the hell out of me and gave me huge confidence in my car.
: Of course, never stint on good brake pads or great tyres. The car needs them and you deserve it. Firstly there's peace of mind, then there is handling and awesome stopping power. My problem these days is not stopping, it's stopping so that the bloke behind doesn't shunt me because HE/SHE/IT can't stop.
: Hope this helps.

Point well taken! New rotors arrived today by FedEx, two days after I ordered them from Bavarian Autosport.
