I like Auto Sportsystems Group myself. I have been taking my Porsches there since 1994, and now they work on my BMW 535i. They mainly tune racing Porsches, but have always welcomed customers' BMWs, Audi's and other German marques. Ray, Geoff, Ed, and Taylor are very qualified and personable. They comprised the nucleus of Autothority years ago before they "defected" and started their own business. Geoff owns, manages, and works the shop, so you know he's passionate about his work and is not accountable to anyone else. Their shop is located in Merrifield (Virgina, off of Lee Hwy and right near BMW of Fairfax), behind the Merrifeld Thrift Store. They have a nice, CLEAN shop with 3 lifts, laser suspension alignment machine, Formula 1 wheel balancer, and a huge wing for parking customer's cars at night. I have found their labor to be extremely reasonble too (~$60/hour?). They always go out of their way to make sure you're satisfied, and have often fixed/adjusted unrelated little niggles for free as they notice them.

The shop is at:
2810 F Dorr Avenue,
Fairfax, VA 22031
(703) 876-2811

Ben (no affiliation with ASG, just a happy lifelong customer)
