I have replaced all the plugs and coils and it is still missing. I have noticed that it seems to be hopping over that cylinder when cranking the car. Kinda like the spark plug is not in. And when it finally starts I can hear what seem to be coming from under the car kinda like a exaust manifold leak, Puff Puff Puff Puff when it gets to that cylinder. Did I blow a head gasket and would that cause it to miss or would it fire and not miss and just make noise.

: Well it goes like this:
: I went 45 miles to dinner tonight and made it there fine.
: I then left and started home, I stopped about 5 miles from home and got a alka seltzer and the car was fine, When I left I got on it pretty hard , ( I didnt get over 5000 rpm I am sure of it) When I turned into the drive way the car was missing on one cylinder"it feels like more but im sure the car would run if two were down" I replaced the coils and plugs about 3 months ago BMW coils and boshe plugs. I havent got to the plugs yet because it was very very dark and I was working with a street light, Is it possible to foul a plug or is it somthing else need to be looking for. Also, The 1992 M50 525I has a chain not a belt so it generaly wouldn't have jumped time would it?
: I drove the car and it cant be noticed above 3000 rpm ( this is why I feel it hasnt jumped time and I have not heard any metal noises and lost any oil and also the car is not smoking at all and has never used any oil in between oil changes.
: Any advice would be helpful.
