: Anyone,
: I recently have had to replace the battery in our 535i and am in need of the radio code. Only problem is the radio was swapped out with a used unit by the previous owner and thus we have no code number. How can one obtain or decifer this code number?
: Is there any way to program the radio so we could use the original factory code?
: My guess is that the codes are hard coded to prevent theft and reprogramming.
: Any info or help is greatly appreciated.

: Thanks,
: Jim

you will have to bring the car and the radio to a dealer. they might charge you $10 , but they should give you a computer printout for future use
