The job is fairly simple. Bentley's will show you each step. I can't see this taking more than a couple of hours on the high side. You may be able to do the job in 30 minutes if your fairly handing.

: Thanks fellows, this is timely and excellent information for me (90 BMW 525i) re intermitent blower operation. I think I have the more expensive sword type limit switch. Some great tips on parts / pricing as well !! I gather from the advice given that one would not want to attempt replacement of this part without a reference manual (ie; Bentley's). Was wondering ----- with a reference manual in hand and my very average mechanical skills, is this a difficult replacement, and, approximately how long would it take ??
