i have the same rims...good to see that someone else besides me chose something OTHER than the Mille Miglia MM 11/2 (no flames, please)...i got my rims about 2 weeks ago and posted the same question...the gap between tire and fender well looks even bigger than it did with the 15" rims...

the general consensus was H & R springs, which drop the back about 1" and the front about 1.5"...
shortened springs require use of shortened shocks,
and most everyone recommended Bilstein Sport shocks--DO NOT USE THE BILSTEIN HD FULL SIZE SHOCK WITH SHORT SPRINGS...THE SHOCK WILL BOTTOM OUT BEFORE THE SPRING!

Turner Motorsport sells the set of Bilsteins for $409 and the springs for $232, but somebody posted
a lower price quoted from www.shox.com...

My mechanic quoted labor on the install at about $350 (7 hours)...

I plan on doing mine in the next month...
