Hi Miki,

I would first check to make sure that your cooling system is in working order and that your t-stat is not stuck open or that You have an air bubble in the system. May be keeping the the heat away. Also, check the heater core as they occasionally go south. If your fan is week, check the archives and such on "the sword". Notorious for going bad on the E34, I just thankfully have no experience with it. Good Luck and stay warm.

'90 525i -- Enjoying the near 70 degree weather here in Atlanta today!!

: I just recently bought a '92 525i - everything on it is sweet. Can't believe all the little features - but BMW left out a simple cup holder; seems like a no brainer to add.

: However, aside from that; my heater is not pushing out enough heated air. The fan sounds like its working and gets louder as you turn up the fan knob, but the expected air output is minimal if not very low. There is heat but not much of it is coming out. What should I be checking for, or adjusting or cleaning on this baby?

: I do have the Bentley service manual, but it dosn't give me troubleshooting tips on heating. My AC seems to work fine.

: Colder and colder in Seattle,

: Miki
