Just last night I got pulled over (upes!) We were going to Malibu (anyone ever been? I was turning 55.20 second laps, a personal best... I was beating some guy who brought his own helmet! =P ), and a friend said he needed to go to an ATM. Argh. So I did a (legal) U-Turn, kinda brought out the back end a little, and hurried up to speed because I saw headlights coming, I wanted to get out of the way. After about 50 and accelerating, those lights turned blue and red. Damn. They asked me if it was my car, I said it's under my dad's name, but I'm full time driver under insurance. He asked me how my dad would like it if he took my car away. I said I didn't think he would. He looked at my license, insurance, said "Have a good weekend, kids.", pointed to my dashboard and said "Radar detectors are a waste of money." Boy was I red... =P I work in a kind of bad part of town, and I think I've recognized him from being in my work's security office, taking shoplifters.

Anyhow, I've only been pulled over once before, driving from work at 11 PM, I think they thought it was a stolen car, some kid driving a BMW down California Street. Both times I was speeding (I was going like 43 the other time), and I was let off with a warning. Somebody upstairs likes me.

Peace.
