400hp from a 3 litre turbo engine is no problem. My twin turbo '89 535i Sport was putting out close
to 550hp but I wanted more so I have decided to rebuild the engine (lower cr, bigger injectors, custom con rods, pistons and some other things)
hope to get close to 700hp when I finshed.
Some facts:
1988 Ford Cosworth 2 litre 4 pot turbo 205hp standard, can be tuned to over 600hp No problem
1980's F1 turbo cars 1.5 litres 1000-1500hp Size does not matter.
1998 Nissan Skyline GT-R 2.5 liter twin turbo 280hp standard, can be tuned to 1000hp+
