After some advice from this board, I replaced my battery, and my check control error was fixed. Also, the car is cranking better, and I think the headlights are much brighter, or they are at least shining farther out. I thought I had the correct radio code, but did not. I went to the dealer, the pulled the radio and got the correct code, punched it in and it worked, no charge. For all those getting the Check Control, Owners manual error, its probably time for a new battery. It is not the easiest thing to do to replace that heavy thing, especially hard to get that stupid clamp screwed in, but I got it.
