Strange. Other than the milage loss, does the car run normally? Why was the head gasket replaced and was any other work done? Have you looked for any possible fuel leak - parts of the FI system had to have been disassembled....

Random thoughts on this Christmas morning..

: Recently had head gasket replaced. Ever since, gas mileage has dropped from an average of 20 mpg (city and highway combined) to 14-15 mpg. Why is this and how can I fix? Thanks very much. Happy Holidays to all!! DJD in KY.
