Thanks for the post..
I hope your post stimulates others to do their own brake work and save substantial moolah.
Good work on replacing the rotors. Like others on the board, I always recommend replacing the rotors (and associated hardware!) along with the pads. BMW made this a brain dead job for anyone with access to a good toolkit and reasonable mechanical skills.
Just for Tim - Guaging from your reaction, I think you should give the linguistically challenged a brake ...heheh =P
