My 1994 540iA is Sharked with H&R, Bilstein, RD, and K&N. It has 157,000 miles on the clock and has passed the leakdown test done at my request (out of curiosity). I use only AMOCO Gold Premium gas and usually drive 200 miles at a time at highway speeds in Iowa and southern Minnesota. The oxygen sensors and cramkshaft position sensor have been replaced recently for general principals, and all other routine maintenance has been done according to schedule. Next comes a 3:64 differential from a 1993 750i and euro Nurnburgring M5 front brakes. Yeehaw!
