Anyone out there know what BMW recommends for lubricating door locks for winter? What about for the ignition switch? My ignition switch is beginning to exhibit a little stubborness when inserting the key. Does this sound like the mechanism is going bad? I know I've read lots of posts recently about ignition switches going bad. Can anyone with some experience describe what it was like before the thing quit working? Also, how did you fix it? Did you end up going to the dealer?
