Yes, you can have a professional do it. However, depending upon your specific situation you may be able to do it yourself.

Here is what I did that worked, given a little patience. At Home Depot they sell window film for installation on home windows. At the display where they sell the film, they also sell a spray bottle of "film remover".

I misted on the film remover and then placed a layer of plastic film on the glass and over the film and misted film remover. The plastic holds the moisture on the film and softens up the "glue" between the film and the glass. After waiting about 15 minutes, use a razor and scrape up a section of the film and then attempt to peel the film off by hand.
