It really doesn't matter. Sound is absorbed by passing through materials that are longer than the wavelength - if your crossover is correct, the smallest wavelength coming from that sub's gonna be 10" & up. That's why you can hear base and nothing else from cars (and apartments) with hopped up audio systems.
: anyway, i just finished wiring up my extra amp (thanx r.kieffer for the wiring diagram). i'm running a 8" kicker substation and i'm wondering how it should be placed. should the woofer be firing at the left or right side? or firing towards the rear? or firing towards the front? i'm only running one substation. any help would be great. thanx!
