That upper radiator hose is a b*tch to thread through there. I couldn't find a way to get the clip off, so I threaded the skinny hose through there first before making the other connections.

I seem to recall it took almost an hour (start-finish) to get that hose in...

: Hi,

: A question for those who have gone through the pain of replacing hoses on a 535...is there a trick to threading the two long hoses that run under the intake manifold?

: They are secured by a pair of double-loop clips which are a bear to get at. Is there a way to remove these, pre-thread the hoses and reinstall the clips?

: Also, if one is not replacing the fan clutch, can the pulley be taken off complete with fan and clutch as one unit?

: Any tips on this would be greatly appreciated.

: Thanks,
: Adnan
