the '89 735i was an e32 model and the '90 535i is an e34...
granted, the 7 had 94k when i bought it and the 5 only had 39k...
but from personal experience and that of others, the 5 wins because
it is, in my opinion, a much more conservative and straight forward
design...the 7 had alot of cool bells and whistles--mine was exceptional
in that all of them worked...
but more likely than not, on the average car of that age, all those gadgets start
becoming inoperable for one reason or another--which can hit you
pretty hard in the wallet if you try to keep up...
