Hey Tim,

It is for your tow hook and temperature sensor. Could be easily modified for your K&N. Just do a little thinking and You will amaze yourself with creativity. "Professionals built the Titanic, Do it Yourselfers built the Arc" Go get 'em!!

: I noticed it this morning, it has a little clip on it like I could pull it off, but it didn't come off easily, so I didn't force it. Can I take it off, and route a tube from there up to the K&N filter for better air flow? It looks like I could get at least a 2 1/2" hose between the other hoses... Just a thought. Thanks.
