I remember someone on the old Welty digest bought E36 Racing Dynamics springs. His springs started rusting! He researched that problem, and that is when I started hearing about the whole story between manufacturer and distributor.

: i was just flipping through the bavauto catalog, and i see that they carry both RD Sport and Racing Dynamics (Electrodyne). the Racing Dynamics product numbers they carry match up match up with those in the Electrodyne catalog. the part numbers of RD Sport products and Racing Dynamics products are very similar. the first 7 numbers are usually the same, with minor differences in the last 3 numbers. i find this to be very interesting. so okay, what i know now i guess, is that RD Sport products are the real deal from europe. Racing Dynamics products are i guess manufactured by Electrodyne as indicated on their web site and are not true Racing Dynamics. so my question is, are the Racing Dynamics products manufactured by Electrodyne really crap? and that RD Sport is the way to go? thanx for any feed back!
