If you want to get rid of the bass vibes at the dead pedal but want to keep the same amount of bass coming from the rest of the speakers: put a condensor in paralel over your loudspeaker. This will cut of the lowest frequencies (30-50 HZ) and this should be just enough to stop the vibes. I don't think you will even hear a difference.A car audio specialist can help you with the correct value of the condensor.
I had to do the same thing in my 530i Touring with the speakers in the ceiling. I didn't have any vibes, but the speaker membrames were just moving too much and were beating against the mesh covers. The condensors cut of the lowest frenquencies and the moving of the membrames was back to normal.
