most e34's already have ellipsoid headlights (projectors). the euro ones are the ones with the upside down looking eyebrow. when i went to europe over the past summer, i saw some e34's and what they are is city lights or parking lights as they are known in the u.s. so that lil part of the head light lights up with a low wattage bulb and acts as the parking light. the cornering lights do not light up at all unless you are signaling, then they blink. an advantage of having E code euro head lights is the beam pattern is a lot better than the d.o.t. head lights we have in the states. hope this helps.
