Hi Ed,
having Timer1 and Timer2 or not, depends on having two special relais on two outputs at obc. The obc reads this two outputs and sees if there are relais or not. Every time starting up. I'm from germany and my english is not as well. I don't know the correct words. I thing it's called parking heating and parking ventilation.
The relais are in a black box, placed over the glovebox. Maybe it's disconnected, because of working earlier. Do you have parking heating and parking cooling ?
