I drove the car for sometime. It never overheated or anything of that nature. It simply wouldn't come out of the blue area of the temp gage and generate any heat. External temps were from below zero to a few degrees above. I have since had it into the dealer and they replaced the thermostat and a collapsed return hose that went to the expansion tank. It now works properly.
