Thanks again for your insight on curing the problem (Billy and Paul). Both ideas sound great! I think I will first try the wiping and coating with the "graphite powder," consequently Paul, where do you get that powder anyway? And then I will replace the blades if all else fails!: : I just returned from a long drive in the rain in my 92' 525I. I noticed that the windshield wipers at certain moments were quiet when going back and forth, but most of the time they were making a harsh, rubbing sound that was loud and unpleasant. Is this noise common in these cars? (I hope not), it was my first time driving this car in the rain. Thank you for your comments!
