I've had the same thing happen to me as well. I've noticed that if I start the car and only run it for a minute and back it out of the garage and park it in the driveway to wash it and then shut it off right away; then after washing and starting and pulling back in the garage for the night, rough idle and runs like crap when starting the next day. I've found that if I let the car run a little after starting and backing it out and again after washing and pulling it in, no problem. It will do this even if I haven't washed it, only moving car out and back in to clean out the garage. Let her idle for a while and that should help. Maybe something with the oxygen sensor. Maybe somebody else can give a technical explination. I just let mine idle a little when moving her or even take a little trip around the block.

: Sometimes I wash my '94 525ia in the evening. The next morning the car will idle like crap for a couple minutes. Obviously humidity or condensation is causing something to get wet.

: Anyone have a clue what the actual problem is? No codes are getting set. I'm not washing the motor. The car is garaged FWIW.

: TIA!
