What did they tell you about the plastic impeller on the water pump that usually fails about now? Makes me wonder if they are doing the right repair job and you will be back in for a water pump anyway. My two cents. Good luck-Jim

: I needed to add Coolant once every 2-3 months and
: I noticed a bit of coolant building up around the
: water-pump. Since I am having the car in for x'mission
: service, I ask them to have a look at the water-pump.
: I just got a call and they told me I have a HEAD
: GA$KET leak.
: I wonder can this be possible becaue I am still
: getting excellent milage on my car 30 MPG ?
: It is a 1995 525iA with 68000 miles.
: It is good that I am covered under GE Capital Extended
: Warrant. They told me it usually cost about $1500!!!
