Hello All,
I know this topic has probably been killed to death, but I have a few question about it. Are there any real gains by using synthetic oils in a stock standard engine. OK if you engine has been modified, then you might need it because there's a lot more stress. But if there where any real benefits in longevity or reliability wouldn't BMW put it in the first place? They would save millions on warranty costs if this was the case. What's your guys views on this?
