: Anyone have any experience bidding or buying a car on Ebay?
: I'm real leary of purchasing a car on an Internet auction site.
: What happens if your bid is excepted, you go to pick up the car and it sucks? Despite Ebay's "official" policies, I'm still cautious.
: Any comments or personal experiences ........

Hi Reine. I've bought and sold hundreds of items on ebay, including the purchase of my '84 528e. It's all in knowing the seller and looking at their feedback. I would advise getting the seller's phone number and calling prior to making a bid. What you are asking is not at all unreasonable, and if the seller is not willing to do as you ask, walk away. I had a serious misunderstanding with the first vehicle I tried to purchase on eBay and received a negative feedback, very disappointing. Anyway, PLEASE feel free to email me with any questions regarding this subject! Be careful, but don't be afraid to buy cars there! And most of all, everything you are asking as far as inspections, etc, is more than reasonable. I'm rambling....
