: In the dealer today to pick up some plugs, filters and gaskets, I get such a deal! Don't ask.. O.K. my company does alot of business with them. How's that? Anyway, one of the salesmen walks by and says, "Hey Jr., did you see the new M-5 out there?" My mouth dropped open and as I turned, there it was sitting in a corner all by itself almost unnoticed blending in with the rest of the cars in the service area. "Wanna see it?" Oh yeah, I wanna see it alright! Walking over to the car you could practically see it come to life. With the hood popped open, the entire engine bay was full, not one centimeter to spare. The wheels alone probably cost more than my entire car! It was sweet... Now here is something to think about, this will be the car that Tim and Rory are driving 15-20 years from now and who is gonna tell them what to do to fix it?:^)
: Have fun..at least you will under 40.

Jr, I also saw one recently. It was parked outside a restaurant, and several people were checking it out. The jury's still out on the brakedust colored rims and not-very-mature-looking quad exhaust (at least not for us over 35-ers), but otherwise an incredible car. As for owning one in the future, it's a tough call. You look at the e34 M5s now, and they haven't come down much in price, still very exclusive, still expensive to maintain (M5=multiply by 5). maybe just find an M5 engine (from one of the cars one of the youngsters wrecked) and shoehorn it into my 525i-badged e34. Can you imagine the look on an unsuspecting victim as you ripped away with 400 horses minus 10k miles worth of rubber left at the red light? Aaahhh, fun...
