1994 BMW 530i (archive)

I recently bought a 94 530i which is 5 months out of the 6 year warranty on the engine. Any advice on what to do re: leakdown test, etc? It has 63,000 miles on it. It seems to run great. Any ancedotes on having your bimmer run a million miles without an engine replacement would be much appreciated (or having BMW replace the block even out of warranty). The car was mainly in Colorado with it's last year in Mass. It will now reside in California.
