530i computer (archive)

I recently purchased a 94 530i with engine replacement done 4k miles ago a few questions, 1). my on board computer says PPPP and the radio is dead, i have the radio code but there isn't any power to the radio, and the fuse is fine. The BMW dealership I went to for my purchase inspection said the radio needed to be taken out and repaired $225, i have owned alot of cars and never have i had such a problem. The other problem is the car has a pronounced shimmy at 60mph... at 70 nothing and at 50 nothing, The dealer said the tires have flat spots from sitting for long periods of time, they rebalanced them but it still exists,they made no mention of an alignment,shocks or any front end problems
