I have 36psi in my 235/45ZR17 Dunlop SP 9000's on Breyton Softlines. Shocks are Bilstein HDs. Stock springs. Ride firm. Grip excellent. I found 40psi a bit hard. Not needed for daily errands.

Since it doesn't rain often here, I don't worry about wet traction much. The higher pressures will affect wet handling. My tires indicate a max pressure of 52psi.

Be sure to check for uneven tire wear when running at a higher pressure.
