Daniel,

I wanted to make sure I understood your sequence of events correctly:

Let's say you are in second gear at 3000 RPM and proceed to change down. You press clutch pedal in and bring shifter to neutral and now let go the pedal. RPMs stay at 3000.

If you now press the pedal in a second time with shifter still in neutral, RPM drops to idle.

Is this what you are describing?
