To those of you with stir sticks in your center console...

I have noticed what seems to be a lot of noise coming from the transmission. In neutral you can hear the mass spinning inside. On a recent blast down the highway it seemed to be a bit noisy. I had a getrag 265 in my 85 I think this one is a 260. Just curious as to the sound levels in other e34 manuals.

I am running redline MTL in the trans and was thinking about mixing in some heavier redline oil to reduce the noise. thoughts ??
