That's what I was figuring for real body work - $500. I am still unsure if a "dent wizard" can get it out to my satisfaction, but that is my initial impression. As for paint, something has to be done because different points in the dent have no more paint. The thought of filling, sanding, and repainting the whole door really scares me. "Filling"...ugh. Thanks for the info, nevertheless, Keith.

: Been there! Pounding, filling and painting will be $400-$500 at the dealer ($300-$400 at an independent) - Ouch! I found out later I could have had it "dent-wizard'd" out for about $100-$150. You may have to touch up the scratches.
