What type of rattle did you have. I had a near constant rattle and another clunkier sounding one when hitting bump in the road. The constant one I found was due to many pieces of safety glass hiding under the rubber insulation beneath the tray (due to a previous owner's accident and broken rear glass). The clunking rattle is coming from the drivers side, mabye the strut tower mount? Then I saw you post about the clips. I did not check them out before re-installing the tray so they may be a problem. Did yours sound over bumps only, or all the time?
