: Jr,

: What type of rattle did you have. I had a near constant rattle and another clunkier sounding one when hitting bump in the road. The constant one I found was due to many pieces of safety glass hiding under the rubber insulation beneath the tray (due to a previous owner's accident and broken rear glass). The clunking rattle is coming from the drivers side, mabye the strut tower mount? Then I saw you post about the clips. I did not check them out before re-installing the tray so they may be a problem. Did yours sound over bumps only, or all the time?

: Thanks

Hi Jeff,
The rattle I experienced was when I drove over rough roads. The sound was silenced when my helper (11 year old Natalie) would press down on the package tray in certain areas. The rattle sounded like loose bolts bouncing around on the metal tray. The only way to find it was to remove the package tray all the way. It wasn't hard. And yes, the top of the shock tower is right there also, as mentioned in a previous post. That is probably where your clunking is coming from, maybe something loose. It's top is covered by a rubber cover. I hope it is something simple for you. Take a look, it doesn't cost anything and who knows, you might find a "hunner dollar bill";^)
Good luck,
Jr
