CLG:

The place to buy the CD player is through Pacific BMW. There website is www.pacificbmw.com They have the correct cd player for a 95 E34 for $328 (#82111468014).

I purchased mine at Pacific BMW and they are a snap to install. They're located in Glendale CA, and try to only sell at these prices through mail-order. So, if you live in SOCAL, tell them you drove more than 75 miles.

The mounting bracket, which costs extra, is the hardest part of the installation, but once you figure it out, the rest is really very simple. A matter of plugging the wires into one another. Everything is pre-drilled as well in the trunk, left-hand side underneath the left speaker.

And unlike the previous suggestion, the headunit buttons in the car will operate the cd player.

I would also recommend that you join the BMW Car Club. For $35 a year you'll receive the Roundel magazine, and get discounts on parts at your local dealership. The Roundel is chalk full of places to purchase stuff for your 'baby'.

Enjoy your car.
