: I am trying to take the OBC out of my mom's car, I think a few of the backlight bulbs are shot, but I can't get it out! That lever WILL NOT move! Any idea? I've pulled and pulled, my fingertips have dents in them, but it won't COME OUT! Argh. Any advice would definitely be appreciated, I don't feel like tearing the dash apart!

I recently was in the same position you are in now. I managed to replace the two light holders by popping the front plate off any pulling the lighted button module part of the way off, but it was still attached to the main unit. It was very tight space, but still enough room to use flat needle nose pliers to remove the light holders properly. Make sure you get the correct replacement bulbs, I believe they are ORSAM 1.5V. You will need a small solder iron as well. Let me know if you can't find a Radio Shack to buy the proper ORSAM bulb , i am in Germany and they are readily available.
