The tether bolt that came with my baby seat fit perfectly. While I'm sure BMW has a bolt listed, I chose to use the mounting that came with the child seat. That way I know it all works together safely. The cadmium plated bolt and tether mount really isn't too noticeable. Not nearly as noticeable as the fingerprints on the glass, shoe marks on the armrest, and Cheerios on the floor. ;-)

Once the child seat comes out I can recover the package tray, or buy a new one.

: I am installing a new car seat for the next driver in the family and would like to know if anyone has a tie down anchor for the tether strap in their car. I know my 95 525 has the anchor holes under the rear deck behind each seat. Does BMW make an anchor attachment for this that would fit these holes and still look good? I would perfer to use the OEM part for safety reasons.
