Dear fellow BMW enthusiasts:

i'm asking for help. as i approached my precious oxford green 525i, i noticed a line across the hood (stretching about 12 inches). my heartbeat began to pound as i used my fingernail to see if the key marking took off the paint. DOH! i've been keyed. the deep part of the key mark is around 5 inches in the middle and the light part (that i think i can polish out) is on the beginning and end.

-->i wanted to know if any of you have been keyed and what steps did you take (or not take) to rid of the key marks / with how much it'll cost. thanks in advance!
