: Hi,
: i'm kinda new on this forum so please excuse me for re-posting (very likely) a question : what CD changers are available for a 93 535i, what are the difficulties of mounting one - i don't want to get out the in-dash stereo, etc.
: I would really appreciate your suggestions.
: Thanks,

Call up Crutchfield and they will tell you. There are 2 buttons you push on your radio at the same time and the words like "ALPINE" or "PIONEER" or some other radio brand name will come up. This will tell you what type of cd player your car is ready for. They also have very good prices on the cd players they sell and they will send you all the right stuff for your car. They will tell you which 2 buttons to push on the radio and how to do it. It is very easy to install yourself. They even have a support hotline to help you out. If you go to the dealer they will sell you the cd player for like $700 or more. I got the right one for my car for $300 plus tax brand new in the box from them.
Good luck.
