: Hello,
: my tape player quit working. I have the radio out of the car is it easy to get into it. could it be a belt?
: Anyone ever messed with this.
: Thanks in advance

The case is easy to open by bending back the tabs on the bottom of the case. but after that unless you are an electronics person best leave alone. you will have to unscrew and remove boards covering the player and this could lead to more problems you may not be able to solve. The dealer is the only answer i have found. bmw radios and cds are usually proprietary in there connections and your local repair shop may not have correct connections to even test unit. The dealer will send it for you for a flat fee. Approx 150.00 with a 10 day turnaround. this has been my personal exp. good luck
