Steve,

I own an 85 535 and have been looking at e34s. There are several differences I've noticed between the cars;

- e28 has better steering feel and seats (my opinion)
- e28 is more "mechanical" feeling (and sounding)
- e34 is quieter, smoother, and has a stiffer chassis. Also, a bit easier to drive since the e28 clutch (535 version) is quite stiff and the steering requires more effort.

Mike

: I have been looking for an '88 535is with 5 sp for quite some time and havent found anything local.
: Maybe an '89 535i with 5 sp would be comparable in driving experience? They are a little easier to find.

: Does anybody have any opinions?

: Thanks Steve
