Mine does this once a while too. If I turn the car off and then on it seems to correct itself. Maybe once a month or so...

: The fuel gauge on my 92 525i sporadically reads very low. Most of the time it seems to be accurate, but 5-10% of the time it reads low. It seems to reset itself when the car is turned off & then back on. When it does read low, the range function on the OBC is affected about 50% of the time. Any suggestions?
