Mum if everything checks out fine then maybe you can try disconnecting the battery and then connecting it back that will reset the computer and maybe solve your problem.
: I took the advice of the board and did my radiator replacement this weekend. Really ez job and the results are dramatic, now running a full needle width below halfway, and even in traffic, doesn't creep up at all. Also replaced the mounts, and aux fan switch. Old radiator still LOOKED ok, but several suspect areas near the crimps--i suspect it wasn't holding pressure.
: One minor glitch, definitely in the No Biggie department, but still annoying. I'm now getting the "Coolant Level--Check Owner's Manual" message. The level is fine, the wiring to the sensor checked ok, and all air is out of the system. The coolant level sensor was replaced last year--still looked brand new when i transferred it to the new radiator. Should i have replaced it again, or is there some way to reset this msg, or will it go away after a certain number of starts/miles. Is removing it and reinstalling the only way to fix it? thanks!
