Sorry to everyone reading, but here in soggy Oregon there is no sales tax, and auto registration and fees ran me ~$50 last time I did it.

Our property and state income taxes are really high though.

: Here in TX, the vehicle sales tax rate is 6.25% on the net sales price (price less trade-in value) of all vehicles bought and sold (new or used).

: What is the vehicle sales tax rate in other states?
: Just wondering -- perhaps there's an arbitrage opportunity somewhere.
