: : : They will be here Friday, shipped direct to my local BMW dealer who will install and balance with a 4 wheel alignment for $130. The savings on the tires alone was $200, after much research comparing them to the Michelin XGTV-4, I couldn't justify spending that much extra! Especially when the Dunlops are supposed to perform as well and better than the Michelins on wet pavement. They were highly recommended by Eddie at the Tire Rack who happened to visit the factory where they are made last week, he came back with a two thumbs up report. Hope this helps.

: Jr, you've never steered me wrong. How 'bout an update on monday after you put a few miles on them? You ordered them in 225/60 15 for the stock 535 rims, right?
:Yes, on both counts. The stock basketweave (PITA to clean) rims. One of the things about the Dunlops in the size of 225-60-15 is the speed rating, "W". I looked it up on the Tire Racks information page and was suprized to see 168mph! Wow!! Is that all? I still don't believe it. Shipping and 4 shoes cost $288 delivered to the door of your choice. After checking with local tire dealers and discount houses the closest they came to this price was $80. Tire Rack has the best deal, period. So I'll give it a post as soon as the verdict comes in. Happy shopping.
